PEN HOLDER

Some time ago i asked my dad if he could make me a pen holder for my promarkers. I dont have as many PMs as i have copics and if im honest i dont use them as much as they are stashed away in holder and i cant see the colours properly so i got an idea in my head for a holder an asked Dad to help out.

Today when i was round at my mum and dad's the pen holder was finished - wow its fantastic as so much better than i had envisaged it would be. Havent i got a clever dad!!

I added some fancy papers to the bottom inside and the side parts to hide the pencil marks and screw holes. The papers i chose are from DCWV  and i added a wee butterfly - i will of course add some fairies but going to stamp them out on shrink plastic - a project im working on during this week.

What do you think?

My husband made some for me... for Sakura pens and brush markers as well as PMs and Copics - very similar. Just have to decorate mine yet lol xx

Your dad has done a terrific job Gill, Isn't it nice to have someone handy with a drill, screwdriver and a saw. A family friend who was a woodworking teacher made me something very similar for pens, pritt sticks etc as well as a three tier wooden craft box for my work table which is in constant use. Aren't we lucky, was about to say bunnies too but have been beaten to the pun by Judi.

I need one of them, ive got all the pm's but they just sit in a basket as its the only way i found to store them where i could see the colours, wish they'd follow copics lead and make the pen lids the pen colour so we could stand them in pots to store.
