Katherines Birthday Shades of Purple Blog Hop

Here is my project for this hop, i have used the "Shades of Blue" digi from the scrapbook stamp society.  I created a simle 6x6 square card .

I printed the digi  then cut it out close to the edge and coloured her with spectrum noir markers.
On one of the layers of the backing papers i edged it in pinflair flexi bend peel offs . Lots of pearl bling and glitter added to her wings.

CREATE A LITTLE LIGHT

Good morning all

Today is very dark so im guessing this is the start of the dark mornings and dark evenings drawing in - well it is september at the end of this week - where has the year gone.

So to reflect the darkness i have made a candle luminary.

I have used a tesco gold coffee jar and covered it with fancy patterned vellum edged in lace ripples.  Created an organza ribbon and beads tier for around the top, then the tails hang down.
Added glittery pink ribbon around the top, bottom and the jar lid and created a bow.
Cut one of the flowers from the vellum to place on the top of the jar lid then glued a pink button to the top

PINK AGAIN !

Good morning all from wet Inverness - seems like its been raining for 24 hours !

yesterday in between my tidy up sessions i did manage to play a little  -well it would be rude not to !

I made a few cards that i will post over the next few days, but first up is a kanban anniversary card i made for my mum and dad

I have cut the oval shape with my new grand calibur oval shape. isnt it a lovely one. Then i used a kanban topper and ribbon strip. Added some wild orchid flowers and hat pins. I have added pearls all around the oval shape

I used the next size down oval shape to create the back and then an easel stand. Another topper added to the stand.

PINK PRINCESS

Good saturday afternoon to you all

Today i have been tidying my craft room - yea i can see the floor and surface areas again !  mega achievement.

Here is a card that i made a few days ago, as no time today to make any !!
it is using a Saturated Canary digi called Fancy.

I have created a 6x6 rounded corner card blank and added swirly paper in 2 colours across the card. the digi was printed onto neenah card stock then coloured with pro markers and cut out close to the edge.
She was then mounted on top of the papers sculpted into shape and stuck with pinflair glue gel.

Glitter was added to her ribbons and bodice.

A long ribbon strip and flowers were added as embellishments along with a shoe charm and 4 dew drops in each corner.

AWAY WITH THE BIRDIES !!

Hello all. i havent blogged for a couple of days, just up to my eyes with "life" at the moment.
Anyway today i am showing you come calendars that i have made for christmas presents using elements from kanban kits.
The biege/gold one has had no enhancements apart from pearl bling and the ribbon and almanac. The blue and lime one has been coloured with promarkers.

Hope you like what i created

I created these by cutting a large circle shape with 2 grand calibur dies (basically so it created a round frame).
Layered on all the flowers around the shape and then added butterflies and the bird. Sculpted the butterfly wings and added some half pearl gems.
Next i layered the almanac onto card stock and attached it to the lower flowers.
Cut gold ribbon and attached it at the back, placing matching flowers on the back to hide the ribbon so it looks good from back and front.

MARRY ME

Good afternoon all

I am now showing you a card created using the Saturated Canary digi called Marry Me. I hope you like what i have created with her.

 I have used a Debbi Moore backing paper with the old style mansion house. Printed the digi onto neenah card stock and coloured her with copic markers then cut her out close to the black line.
I cut a doillie in half and placed it to the right of the house then added the digi on top sculpting it before applying pinflair glue gel.

I have added a heart brad to her bow on her dress and some pearl bling on the doillie.

Lastly i punched out the butterlies and added them to the right of the card.

Oh well another day is upon us, wish i was packing for my summer holidays but as ive had my time off work guess i wont be going anywhere this year.

Good morning

Here is another digi card using Saturated Canary Jules.

I have created a 6x6 square card using 5 layers of papers and a doillie for my base.  The digi was printed onto neenah card stock and coloured with copic markers and then cut out close to the edge. It was then shaped and sculpted and placed on the card front using pinflair glue gel to give it dimension.

Glitter was added to her underskirt.

Wild orchid flowers were added as embellishments along with a "my perfect pal" charm. I also punched out some butterflies. 

Lastly i added some hat pins for effect.

A BLUE CANARY

Good morning all

Today i am showing you another card using a digi created  using  Saturated Canary - canary Love digi .


Here is my card

I have created a 6x6 square card and used a corner inverter to punch out the corners. I took a piece of stripey paper and cut to size again inverting the corners and attached that as a base layer. Brown and cappaccino hunkydory card stock was cut in strips and placed onto the card. Next was a spotted brown paper cut to size. I lastly took a piece of brown pearl card and used a heart nested die and cut it.

The digi was printed onto neenah card stock and coloured wiht copic markers then cut close to the black edge. She was mounted onto the matted and layered card front using pinflair glue gel so it was in a sculpted shape.

Peel offs were added around the borders and wild orchid flowers added as embellishments. A heart shaped button was also added to compliment the heart on the digi.

Lastly pearls were added around the nested die to compliment it.

AVA

Good evening everyone

Well thats the end of another day off, the sun is still shining though so thats good.

Here is another card created using the Saturated Canary digi called "Ava".  Hope you like it

I have used a 6x6 card blank and covered it with purple swirl paper then cut in half some stripey paper to put up and down on the card blank.
I added a card strip of lace up and down the right hand side.

The digi was printed onto neenah card stock and coloured with copic markers then cut into a rectangle and matted onto lilac/pink glitter card and attached to the card front and once attached the digi had glitter added.

She has a very pretty face dont you think ?

Wild orchid flowers and leaves were added as embellishments

Bling, pearls and a bow added to the LHS

WELL FANCY THAT !

Good afternoon all

Today i have a day off and have been trying to tidy but instead ive been playing !
I have created a few saturated canary digi image cards today so the first up to show you is this lovely girlie image called " FANCY".

I hope you like what i have created with her as ive had fun.

I have used a 6x6 card blank and covered it with HOTP flowery paper and rounded the corners. Next i cut another piece of patterned paper and again rounded the corners and placed it at a jaunty angle. I cut a doilley in half and added that too in different places. Next was a pink dotty ribbon strip to go up and down the card front.

The digi was printed onto neenah card stock and coloured with copic markers. She was then cut out close to the edge and mounted on top of the card front using pinflair glue gel.  Once dry i added glitter to her dress and bow.

Next i added the embellishments - wild orchid flowers and leaves, hat pin and a butterfly charm

BUTTERFLY ART

Good morning  all

Today i have to show you a canvas art project that i made yesterday.

I took a square canvas, a butterfly punch and pink patterned paper. 
I drew a heart shape onto the canvas then I punched out heaps of butterflies.
Each butterfly was shaped slightly and stuck to the canvas with pinflair glue gel.

you can buy canvas art the same idea as this in Ortak, as this is where i took my inspiration from, but why pay a nice price tag when you can make it yourself !!
