WHERES THE SUNSHINE AND SUMMER GONE ?

Hi all

Today sees another dreary day here in Inverness. The sun that was with us for a while is now clearly playing hide and seek !

To brighten up my  day ive created this cute summer card using a digi from the Scrapbook Stamp Society called Sara Flutters and Flowers from Heather Valentin. She can be found HERE

I have created a round scalloped card. I covered an a4 card and ran it through my calibur with the largest scalloped nestie. Then again with a plain piece of white card.
I then printed the digi onto neenah and coloured it with promarkers. It was cut using a round die then a scalloped one behind that.
All mounted onto the card then the flowers/buttons and accessorie embellishments added. Lastly glossy accents was added to her bow and the flowers on the digi.

I hope you like what i created today.

SOMETHING DIFFERENT

Good morning everyone

After all the sun we have had today is dull and foggy - mmm whats going on with the weather !

Today i am showing you something that i created a while ago. I am the kind of person who creates in mamoth proportion then stock piles them all ready to show you when the time is right.  Today the time is right to show this card.
It is using a digi from the Scrapbook Stamp Society  "Digi U Color Art Mitzi Sato-Wiuff Sades of Blue" and it can be found HERE

I have printed the digi onto neenah card stock and coloured her withe copic markers to match the paper background that i chose.
She blends in really well i think. I then die cut some flourishes and leaves to add ontop and under the digi for a different effect - its hard to even tell what is paper, what is dies and what is the digi  - thats the effect i was going for.

I glittered her wings and added some purple bling for embellishment

I totally adore this image and have coloured it in so many different combinations, hope you like her too.

I have created a 6x6 card covered in fancy scroll flourish backing paper. I  have edged it all in pinflair flexi bend peel offs. The digi was printed onto neenah card stock and coloured with copic markers then cut out close to the edge.
A nested shape was cut as a matting and layering block.

Good evening all

Here is another creation from me today using a Scrapbook Stamp Society digi.
This one is called I LOVE COPICS from the artist Heather Valentin.
The digi can be found HERE

I have created a 6x6 square scalloped edged card and covered it with a stripey blue designer paper. It was then edged in pinflair flexi bend peel offs and bling added to the scallops.
The digi was printed onto neenah and coloured with copics - it couldnt be anything else could it!
It was then cut out close to the black drawn edge.
I cut 3 layered scalloped shapes using my calibur on dotty designer paper and the other on pink card stock.
Once everything was assembled i added a heart gem and then 2 heart buttons as embellishments and some glitter to her hair bow.
I created a medium sized ribbon bow and tied it up with a button and wire.
