LEAVES AND ROSES FAIRY

Good evening everyone


Hope you all had a good monday. I just knew the sun wouldnt last as today it piddled rain! 


Here is another card that i created yesterday, it is using another fairy digi from scrapbook stamp society called Leaves & Roses Fairy from Morgan Fitzsimons. She can be found HERE

I have printed the digi onto neenah card stock and coloured her with spectrum noir markers. I then cut her out with a scallop nestie die. I cut a plain oval nestie in the green/blue glitter card and then another scallop in whitewash blue/green coredinations.
I used a green/blue textured card as my base and cut a strip of ivy paper on the left.
The die cut shapes were then placed in the middle of the card.
Bling and a bow were added to the bottom right corner

I added bling that was clear and coloured with spectrum noir markers, around the scallop edges. Her wings were then glittered.

I then punched out a butterfly and added pearl bling for its body.

LITTLE FAIRY CHILD

Good evening everyone


The sun is still shining - we are definately on a roll now but i guess it means it will probably rain tomorrow!


Anyway i am back again to show you another card that i made this morning using another of scrapbook stamp societys digis.


This card was created using the digi called Fairy Child Forget me not by Morgan Fitzsimons and she can be found HERE .


I have printed the digi onto Neenah card stock and coloured it with spectrum noir markers then cut her out close to the black edge.
I created the background for my card using a sheet of cream pearlescent card, a stencil and gold paste. I then edged the card with pinflair flexi bend peel offs.


The doillie was sprayed with  gold glitter spray and placed on the card front. The digi then placed on top with pinflair glue gel.


I then punched out a butterfly and bent up its wings, applied pinflair glue gel to adhere it to the card. Glitter was then added to her wings to make them sparkle.  Lastly i coloured some clear bling with markers to match the colours on the card.

BUTTERFLY GIRL

Good sunday morning to you all.


The weather is still shining here  - gosh thats 2 days now - thats a record!
I have several cards to show you today all using the fabby digis over at Scrapbook Stamp Society


First up is this beautiful Cameo 1A digi from Morgan Fitzsimons - she can be found HERE (link to follow later as i am having problems connecting to the shop site today)


I printed the digi onto Neenah card stock the coloured her with spectrum noir markers. I then used a scallop nestie to cut her out. 2 other nesties used for matting and layering shapes and all put together with pinflair glue gel to give dimension.


Next the fun bit - I used the butterfly stencil and black glitter paste to create this fabby background onto red cardstock. Once dry cut it to size and attached to my card blank.

I then added some black bling to the scalloped edges of the cut shape.

Lastly i added some red bling to the glitter pasted butterflies that were visible.

I am so loving these stencil pastes and I think this effect works really well with this gorgeous digi. Hope you like her

SHERRI FAIRY

Good evening everyone. What a cracking day it has been today, the sun is still shinning and its 1800!


I have another card to show you using a scrapbook stamp society digi called Sherri Fairy from Morgan Fitzsimons and she can be found HERE

I have printed this digi onto neenah card stock and coloured her with spectrum noir makers. I cut the digi out in the rectangle shape then edged it all again with a pink marker. I covered the card stock with 3 different papers that all co-ordinated with the colours i used in the digi. I then edged the card and papers with flexi bend peel offs.  I also used a strip of fabric flowers to add to the edge of the card and a fabric flower with bling all in the centres.

I covered the hair in ranger glossy accents to make it stand out.

I added glitter glaze to the flowers and to her wings.

This is such a fabby image to colour i LOVE it. Thanks for checking out my blog today and have a great weekend.

YEE HAW !!

Good morning everyone - its saturday and the sun is finally shining here !


Another card i was working on yesterday is a right YEE HAW one - its using the Urban Farm Diva Cowgirl  from Sherri Baldy at Scrapbook Stamp Society and it can be found HERE

I have printed her onto neenah card stock and coloured her in spectrum noir markers. The digi was cut out close to the black edge.
I covered the card stock with various papers that co-ordinate with the colours i used for the digi then edged it all in pinflair flexi bend peel offs.
I tied it all up in a ribbon band and added a little charm lock and 2 hat pins.
The digi itself is holding the key to the lock.
The last thing added was some card candi around the edges.


I hope you like her as i LOVE her !

CRAZY FOR YOU

Hello everyone


Today is a day off for me and what do i do - yep craft !! 
I have created heaps of projects today for the shop and for DT work. I am not showing them all in one go as they are for specific things going on over the next couple of weeks.
However one card i created today i will share with you as i am so pleased with how it turned out as the colours are totally not my normal choice but they are fabby


It is using the digi Material Girlie Lil Ragamuffin from Heather Valentin at Scrapbook Stamp Society and you can find it HERE

I have printed the digi onto neenah card stock and coloured her withe spectrum markers. She has then been cut out close to the black edge. I then used a lime glitter card stock as my base card, cut a flower shaped from cream pearlised card stock, used my crimper tool to crimp some craft card. Lastly i used a piece of backing card from an embossing folder. It has the leopard print in green already on it (so basically i cheated but it is recycling )!!

Her bow and clothes had glitter glue applied to make them sparkle.

I printed a ticket sentiment to match the mood for the digi and to me as it is Madonna inspired then i have chosen Crazy for You which also was a madonna song. I have coloured the sentiment to match the digi and then added a heart button in lime also.

I lastly shaped the digi and applied pinflair glue gel to the reverse and placed her onto the card front.  Once the whole card was assembled i coloured some clear bling with the markers to create the perfect colour to match the card.

TINKERBELL BLOG HOP

Hello everyone and welcome to the Weekly Disney blog hops hosted by Lisa
This weeks hop is TINKERBELL  so when i heard about it i had to do it !

My images are all coloured in copic markers / spectrum noirs and have lots of glitter and stars around them and the card stock is from craftwork cards. Some have flowers added with gems plus peel offs  from my stash and others have sentiments stamped and embossed in holographic powder but it doesnt show up too well in the photos unfortunately. The backing papers are from various sources but all go well with the fairy theme i think.


I love tinkerbell and as she was named after what she is - a tinker as she likes to tinker around with stuff - strangely enough so do it so i feel i have a connection - yea i know your thinking barmy woman!!! but it keeps me happy.  Heres the cards - hope you like them !

My project for today is a glass jar that once contained bubble bath. It was empty and cleaned and  i used glass paints with lead liner and decorated it with dolphins and water bubbles. It is now a decorative piece in my bathroom and can be just an ornament or can hold some fabric flowers.

Scrapbook Stamp Society 13th April Challenge - Girly Girl

Hello everyone


Today sees a new challenge over at Scrapbook Stamp Society and today it is a Girly Girl theme.
I have used the digi called TUTU Lil Ragamuffin from the artist Sherri Baldy. The link for the digi can be found HERE 


This  is my project for this challenge

I used a 6x6 square card and covered it in flowery paper. I added a pink spotted ribbon to the left of the card.
I printed the digi onto neenah card stock and coloured her in spectrum  noir markers.

I then cut out the digi close to the edge of the shape.

Next i cut a heart nestie and mounted it onto the card stock. The digi was then added on top using pinflair glue gel . I added glitter to her petticoat and hair embellishment.

I then added a flower embellishment with a bling gem to the bottom right corner


This is such a cutey image and i hope you like her.
