Today 4th June is Skull Appreciation day.
At the Scrapbook Stamp Society we are taking part in a large blog hop to celebrate the cranium !
For my DT card i have created with a brand new digi from Heather Valentin - called Twisted Sugar Sweet Arsenic cupcake. I feel really priviledged to be able to create with this fabby new digi so a BIG thanks to Heather for allowing me to use this image as its that brand new its not in the store yet ! so stay tuned to the SSS store for its release.
I have created a 6x6 square card and covered it with DCWV rockstar skull paper. The silver foiling i have coloured lime green with promarkers to match the colours i wanted for the digi.
I printed the digi onto Neenah card stock and coloured her with my promarkers then cut her out close to the black line.
I used 2 nested dies to create a scalloped square background matting and layering for her to sit on.
She was sculpted and mounted using pinflair glue gel then bling added to the left of the scallops, coloured with promarkers
Wild orchid crafts roses added on the right along with a cheery lynn flourish die. 2 hat pins coloured green with promarkers added also.
Craft work cards card candi in green addded to each four corners.
I lastly added ranger glossy accents to the cupcake, the skull and the poison bottle.
