THE BLUES

Good evening everyone

This evening im showcasing a Blue type creation using a Scrapbook Stamp Society digi called Emily Rainy days from Heather Valentin and it can be found HERE

I have created a 6x6 scalloped top easel card.
This is such a fabby card style im loving it.

I covered the main body of the card with some dotty blue/white backing card that i kept from a packet of stickers (using some old / recycling). Then a piece of blue floral papermaina paper for the circle on the easel top. I edged the whole card with pinflair flexi bend peel offs.

I printed the digi onto neenah card stock and coloured her with promakers - yes im still using them - im going for a weeks record now before i make my mind up on them again. They have been gathering dust on my shelves for almost a year now so this is me using something old. The digi was then cut out close to the black line edge.  Wild orchid flowers added to the top of the scallop shape.

I used ranger glossy accents to cover her hair, eyes and lips

The puddle she is standing is was covered with glossy accents and glitter to make it shine.

The easel base was mirror card and pinflair lace and a sentiment matted onto matching blue card stock. 3 co-ordinating buttons added as embellishments.

I hope you like what i have created

I am entering this into the following challenges

OLD - promarkers - i am a copic or a spectrum noir girl but ive dug out my PMs this week and started to play again with them     NEW  - card shape       FREE  - the main dotty backing card  - it  was on the back of a packet of stickers i bought.     BLUE - colouring
