Good saturday morning to everyone - what you going to be getting up to this weekend then - heres something that you can do - get your creative juices flowing and come up with something for my latest challenge.
Thank you to the DT for their inspirational samples for the Spring sketch and a big thank you to those of you who played along, your entries were all fantastic and hope to see you back again in the next challenges. The entree numbers are creeping up each challenge so thats great as word is getting about.
So here goes - the random number generator has selected the spring sketch winner .... drum roll please ......
*** VALERIE ***
You are the winner !!!! CONGRATULATIONS.
Can you please email me (from the ME tab at the top of my blog) and i will send you your winning blinkie.
Ok then, on to the new challenge - it is a theme challenge this week and the theme is PETS. You are free to create any type of project - card, Scrapbook LO, x stitch, painting, model etc just so long as it has something that can show a pet that you have had, once had, wish to have, would like to have or just anything that could be a pet.
There's just a few conditions that id ask you to please comply with for entering.
1 - You need to be a follower on my blog
2 - Your creation will need to be posted on your blog or FB page showing a direct link back to this blog challenge post. Please check the link works.
3 - Complete the Mr Linky below - link your challenge post entry only NOT your whole blog - this saves us all some time when going through the entries for commenting. If not directly linked, my team and i might not post you a comment. Please check the link works.
4 - Your creation can be included in with any other challenge but all i ask is that its a new creation, so no back linking please.
After you've created your entry, It would be nice if you could leave a comment for me and my DT to read as we take the time to create the inspirational projects so its nice to hear what you think - you could even pop on over to my DTs blogs/FB pages and leave them comments directly. You can find my DT links under the CBGM DT tab at the top of my blog. Thanking you in advance and on behalf of all of us.
Here are our creations for this
PETS themed challenge
I personally have several entries this time around (just because i can lol) - the first one is a Scrap page of Gypsy one of our moggies. She normally shys away from the camera but Jim captured this snap perfectly and yep that is a banana she is holding, but its a catnip one !!
The second scrap page is of our other cat Lucky. He likes to be outside but when he is inside he sits and looks at the outside - strange cat! Here he is sitting looking out our front window. This photo imagery is not good - so i will try to take another photo later and repost it.
My next entry is a card showing a LOTV stamped girl with her little birdie that is happily singing back to her.
This is Pamela's Scrap page of Pippa her late Bichon Frise - what a sweetie.
This is also Pam's first ever time at creating a SB Layout - didnt she do well.
I also like to take the opportunity of sending get well wishes to Pam as she's a tad poorly & "purple" just now.
Here we have Vicky's card of a pooch in its dog house. Not a very happy looking doggie as he is having to have a bath - guess he got all mucky or smelly lol !
Next is Margaret's Scrap layout of Robbie the robin. Margaret doesn't have any pets but Robbie visited all the time and Margaret fed and talked to him every day. To her he was her little pet birdie. Isnt he a wee chubby !.
Lisa has created a Scrap layout of the ponies that she helped look after.
They are so adorable you just wanna pick them up and give them a cuddle!!
I hope you like what we have come up with for this PETS challenge as we have had fun creating them.
This challenge will run until 9th April - we look forward to seeing what you come up with this time - remember its an anything goes challenge just so long as its in the theme of PETS - GOOD LUCK and happy crafting !
