SHEENA ON CREATE AND CRAFT - 2 DAYS

Yep the queen of inkyness is back on our screens on create and craft again on tuesday 1st Feb at 10am and 1pm and again on wednesday 2nd Feb at 10am and 3pm. 


Sheena will demoing her "Sketchy" stamp plate range using  Chalk Pastels, Watercolour Pencils and Pastel Pencils - better set your machines to record in case you miss any of the techniques.


Remember for those on freeview you wont be able to watch the shows after 1pm so youll need to either watch it on your computer / laptop on the "watch live link" from the website or go to "catch up tv" website where you can watch it live.

COLOURING AGAIN !

Good morning all - its the middle of the week already - where has it all gone.

I sure know where its gone as for the past couple of days ive been packing up my craft room for the gutt out and move on friday. I got fed up living in a total mess in the room that i thought it was about time i tidied up and gutted it out. OMG i didnt realise quite how much stuff is in there.  I will put up a post next week to show the before , during and after stages.

While packing my stash ive been getting  fed up  so have been taking regular breaks to do some stamping and colouring. This is what ive come up with this week so far.

More hanglar stranglar images coloured in copics and some elements are glazed.

Next is a couple of Elizabeth Bell images.

I GOT ANOTHER ONE - CHECK THIS OUT.

ANOTHER CRAFTING MARATHON

Well thats another craft marathon completed today - im on a roll.
Heres a few pics of what i got up to today - all hanglar stranglar images.  Now to put on the lucky pants, find a 4 leaf clover and grab some fairy dust as off to the bingo - wish me luck!!

Colouring marathon

Hello fellow crafters.
I have today finished a mammoth colouring marathon on some stamping projects ive been working on.
I have been using some sugar nellie, LOTV new range, Hanglar Stranglar and some more Sheena Douglass toddlers.

Its saturday - check out the last of my cards for sheena

Morning peeps

Hope everyone is well - its saturday at last and you know what that means .... yep Sheena is on tv today at noon and 3 on create and craft. Remember if you have freeview you wont see the 3pm show unless you go online. Guess that means all you with sky tv are the lucky ones !

Right then - the last of my cards for Sheena - ive shown over the past 5 days 6 of the cards ive created. so here are the remainder.

BUSY DOING NOTHING 

This is a lilac/pink wall hanging decoration - its done on a large flower template using the cricuti then matted and layered with various card stock in various colours. the Reddy/purple colour has been coverd in distress inks and cosmic shimmer sprays for the splatter effect. I also tried to scrunch it but it didnt really work properly to what i had in my mind. It has all been edged in pinflair peels offs. The flourish has again been cut on the cricuit and the images  coloured in copics 

This one has been made with green pearlised card stock and using the wee flowery single stamp this has been stamped randomly all over in perfect medium then embossed in gold pearl wow powder. The floral  matted and layerd shapes cut on the cricuit including the watercolouring card stock. The image has been coloured using distress inks. The ribbon is from my stash and the flowers are from wild orchid crafts.

This one started off with the little girl being coloured all in one distress ink bundled sage i think but as it is a pale green it made the poor girl look like a zombie so i scrapped that idea. some colours are great for colouring in but green is not one for this type of image - lesson to be learn there and i wont do that again in a hurry !!

JUST THE TWO OF US

This one is following on with the beachy styley. Elements cut on the cricut and edged in distress inks. The images coloured in copics and glitter with ribbon from my stash and shells from the beach.

This one is done on gold pearlised and coredinations cardstock. the images have been stamped and embossed in gold and then coloured using distress inks. It has been edged in pinflair peel offs and the gorg organza wired ribbon is from my stash. I love this effect.

This one is one of my fav's - its centura pearlescent card stock edged in pinflair peel offs. The image are coloured in copics again with glossy accents added to raise the costumes. The matted and layered shapes are cut on the cricut and then edged in some lace i found in my stash. A bit of bling added - just because i could !! 

TIME FLIES

Now then this one is an easel style card with the image being stamped and embossed then coloured in derwent watercolour pencils. The dandelion clocks at the bottom have been stamped in perfect medium then embossed in wow gold pearl. The embellishments are all from my stash.

This is now the last one - its been done with centura pearlescent card stock and white vellum covered in distress inks and then sprayed and splattered with cosmic shimmer sprays and attached with brads and an extra strip of dotted vellum added at the bottom. The image has been coloured with distress inks, some glitter added to the dandelion clocks and all the embellishments are from my stash.

ok then thats all my creations now on show - hope you like what you see and that perhaps given you some inspiration to go get the stamp range and make some fantastic creations of your own.

Sheena Douglass - sneeky peek day 5

Good morning crafters - today im feeling generous and decided to show you 2 cards that ive created from Sheenas new stamp range.

This first one is very dainty delicate and pale - the image stamped and coloured in pink distress ink and matted and layered on matching coloured card. A plain doilley used and big pink organza ribbon. The card stock has also been covered in the same distress ink. The flowers are from wild orchid crafts.

Im really liking this effect.

The second one i have coloured in copics and added glitter to the dandelion clocks. I used the cricuit to cut a branch type flourish .The background card is coredinations and ive used cosmic shimmer sprays to add goldy glitter effects to it. The cardstock is from craftwork cards and peel offs from pinflair. The ribbon is from my crafty stash.

Good evening fellow crafters - well today is reveal day 4 of Sheenas new stamp range - oh the dilema of what card to pick

ill go for another beachy one from the Just the Two of us plate - hope you like it

Gold pearl card stock edged in peel offs from pinflair, the doylley is covered in mica spray powders. The image was stamped in perfect medium and then gold embossing powder used.

Another simple yet effective card.
