All week Sheena, myself and the other DT members have been showcasing sneeky peeks of Sheenas new lake district inspired Sketchy stamp range - if youve missed my postings then please go backward to Monday and start from there.
Today is the launch of the new range on Create and Craft tv 9am, 11am and 3pm so i am able to show you the rest of the cards that i have created using them - hope you like them
This first one is using the boats, hills and people on the pier stamps. I have stamped the boats and hills onto card stock and again onto scrap paper to cut out and apply as a mask. Once attached i then used 2 cosmic shimmer sprays in green and blue and covered the whole card area. I took my heat gun to help speed up the drying process as im not very patient to let that dry naturally!!! Once dry i removed the masks. I then applied stickles to the water area around the boats and the shoreline to make it sparkle - this you can see quite clearly on the second photo. Next i stamped the people on the pier and used a circle punch to cut them out. I wanted to showcase how all the stamps work together hence using 3 different ones on this one card. I matted the main image onto black card stock and likewise with the punched out couple. The main image was then attached to the card blank. I tied a black ribbon all around my blue card base and then attached the stamped couple onto the main stamped area using 3d foam to make it stand proud of the image - a bow was then created onto the ribbon to make it look like it was sitting on top of the punched out couple. Lastly i added 3 little black gems to the main stamped image .
For this next card i have used 5 stamps from the range and using the masking technique again. Firstly i covered my card area in distress green and brown inks then stamped and masked out my images. Once all dry i matted and layered it onto black then white then background papers. I covered my card blank in papers and placed others at jaunty angles. All papers and main card blank i have edged with pinflair flexi bend peel offs as i like to see my cards egded like this. I applied the main creation to the card base then wrapped around some greeny fibres several times and tied them off in random knots to create a bunched up knotted effect. I added some green coloured craft work cards card candy dots and 2 wild orchid crafts filigree corners to finish it off.
For this card i used 2 blues and brown and green distress inks to cover my card blank. Once dry i stamped the trees with shoreline onto the bottom using memento. I then stamped the moon on the card and again onto white card stock. The second stamping i cut out the moon only and attached it with pinflair glue over the originally stamped one and once dry i coloured the clouds in grey spectrum noir pens and lastly applied glossy accent glaze to make the moon shine.
The whole image was then mattend and layered onto black and blue card stock before attaching it to my card blank which i had already covered in backing paper. As a finishing touch i added some flowers, pearl stems and some bling.
Well there we have it for today - thats the last of my cards for this new range - hope you have liked what i created. As mentioned previously if you have missed the weeks sneek peeks at my other creations then please go back to Monday and move forward from there.
Thanks for looking and id appreciate a comment or two to let me know what you think of my creations and of the new stamp range - hope you can catch the shows too - shame im at the SECC in glasgow at the hobbycrafts fayre spending some money but ill catch up with the shows on my return - good luck Sheena with the launch - im there in spirit !!

I could watch Sheena all day but have not yet got any of her stamps - don't feel I am artistic enough to 'make' a card with them but these are stunning. Sheila:)X

Thank you to everyone for all your comments on all of my sneeky peek cards and for todays showcase - it would have been nice if at least ONE had been shown on tv as im afraid none were as all that was concentrated on was the newest DT member and of course " the artist" DT member. I do wonder why i bother at times :-(
These cards are beautiful! I love the new stamps! Thanks for sharing. Edwina Brown
