ALL CREATURES GREAT & SMALL BLOG HOP 15TH APRIL

Hello everyone and welcome to the All Creatures Great & Small blog hop for 15th April.

Thank you to Misty for letting me be a part of this hop where i am among some very talented crafty ladies as i am honoured to be included.

Mistys idea for this hop came from "Operation Write Home" where they had put out a call for kid friendly cards so Our hero’s could send them home to their children. 

 If you have been a follower of Mistys, you will know she really does love All Creatures Great & Small (& deadly) So she set up this blog hop for all of us to showcase our critter creations. Misty will also be having a candy offering too so dont forget.

The theme for this hop is All Creatures Great and Small  so here are my creature creations.

What ive done is use the cricut cart Create a Critter and made heaps of cards from it. When Misty asked me to be a part of the hop last week, that very same day i had made 6 cards – i was on a roll as it was the first time i had used this cart and am loving it.

So thats my first projects the 13 create a critter  creations – hope you like them.








I now have for you my last creation which is a painted garden owl. 

My mum collects ceramic owls and cats and basically lots of critter garden ornaments.


 At the weekend i looked at all the owls and they had absolutely no colour left on them at all as got weathered and were horrible looking.




So i took home the smallest owl and set about painting its feathers and face back on. 

I used my acrylic paints and have then applied a sealant varnish for weather proofing.

It turned out rather well i think.

This weekend ill be taking home the other owls and set to work on them too
